Delete your account
Permanently remove your OneTruth account and all associated data. Different from canceling a subscription.
Account deletion permanently removes your OneTruth account and every piece of data we have on you. This is not the same as canceling a subscription — see Cancel or pause subscription if you just want to stop paying.
How to delete
- Open OneTruth Money → Settings → Privacy.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Confirm in the alert. We send a confirmation email to your address on file.
- Click the link in the email within 24 hours.
Once you click through, your account and every associated row in our database is removed within 24 hours. Backups are purged within 30 days.
What's deleted
- Your profile and any linked sign-in identities (Apple, Google, or email).
- Every bill, note, document, account link, goal, reserve, and workspace you own.
- Your activity history.
- Your Plaid connections (revoked on Plaid's side too).
What's not deleted
- Apple subscriptions are independent. Apple manages them. If you had an active subscription and didn't cancel before deleting, please cancel it manually at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions — we cannot cancel it for you.
- Workspaces you were a member of (not owner of) keep existing for the other members. Your contributions become attributed to "Removed account."
What if I change my mind?
The 24-hour window between confirming and deletion is your reversal window. Open OneTruth Money during that window and we offer a one-tap Cancel deletion option. After 24 hours, your data is gone — we can't restore it.
