Collaboration
Share with your partner
Invite a co-decider in 30 seconds — they get the same Safe to Spend on their lock screen, in real time.
Sharing is the headline feature of OneTruth Money. Inviting a co-decider takes 30 seconds and turns on the live lock-screen widget for both of you.
Invite
- Open OneTruth Money → Settings → Workspaces → choose the workspace you want to share (most people start with Personal).
- Tap Invite someone.
- Send the invite by Messages, email, or copy a link.
Everyone you invite joins as a Member — free, unlimited, paid for by your subscription.
They see what you see
The moment they accept the invite:
- They see the same Safe to Spend number you do.
- They see the same upcoming bills, reserves, and goals.
- Their lock-screen widget updates the moment any of those numbers change — without anyone opening the app.
- The activity feed shows who did what, when.
What Members can do
- See every bill, transaction, and shared note in the workspace.
- Mark bills paid and money requests paid (real-time, across every phone in the workspace).
- Edit shared notes (text, tags, color, linked bills) — every Member contributes to the same household notes.
- Add comments and react to activity-feed rows.
- Take their own notes that are automatically shared with the workspace.
What stays with the Subscriber (the person who pays)
- Linking new banks via Plaid (cost-containment lock).
- Creating new bills, income sources, goals, group budgets, and money requests.
- Editing existing bills, income sources, etc.
- Toggling shared notes to private (Members can collaborate on shared notes but cannot escalate them to private).
- Restoring older versions of notes via Time Machine, or pulling sections from prior versions.
- Deleting a note authored by another collaborator.
- Workspace settings, roster management, and subscription billing.
What they don't see
- Your bank login or any credentials. The Plaid connection is tied to the workspace owner.
- Anything outside the workspace you shared. Personal vs. Household vs. Side Hustle workspaces are independent.
Members are free, unlimited
A single yearly plan typically lights up 4–8 phones in a household. There is no per-Member quota at v1.0 — invite as many people as you want.
Apple Family Sharing
OneTruth doesn't use Apple Family Sharing — invite anyone as a free Member and they get instant access without buying their own subscription. The Member tier is the household-sharing path. Pair plan (two adults co-managing money) ships Q3 2026; Family plan (full-editor sibling plan) ships Q4 2026 — both with pricing announced at launch.
